Brooklyn Bomber 2B David Freese, coming off his Webb award in 2056, put up some great numbers that year.  He hit 34 homeruns, 61 doubles, and drove in 134 runs while hitting .304 in 2056.  His numbers in 2057 were even better, in hopes off winning back to back Webb awards.  David led the league in slugging (.631), OPS (1.004), runs created (145.7), doubles (69), runs scored (127), extra base hits (113), and total bases (367). Freese was also in the top 10 in hits (10th with 176), triples (T-3 with 10), homeruns (T-3 with 34), RBI (T-2 with 113), and stolen bases (6th with 33).  Now, while these are some extremely impressive numbers, Freese' unselfish play, leadership, and overall clubhouse presence makes him a force to be reckoned with and a bargain at his $11.5 million per season salary.

Freese is very proud of his season numbers and support he's getting from around the league, especially in the Brooklyn area, but he will not be satisfied if the Bombers can't bring home the World Series title this year. Let the postseason begin, and let's go, Bombers!
